Onboarding guide

From signed proposal to first sprint

Two weeks, no ambiguity. This is the exact sequence we follow when an engagement starts — and what we need from your side to hit the dates.

The first two weeks

Week 0

Kickoff and alignment

Ninety minutes with your stakeholders and our pod. We confirm the outcome, the decision owner on your side, the constraints and the first vertical slice.

  • Named pod and escalation path
  • Backlog v1 with acceptance criteria
  • Environment and access plan
  • Written definition of done
Week 1

Foundations

Repositories, pipelines, staging and observability. We validate the assumptions from discovery against the real systems — this is where surprises get found early.

  • CI/CD running on day one
  • Staging environment reachable by your team
  • Architecture decision records started
  • Risk register, priced
Week 2

First slice in staging

Something real reaches staging: not a mockup, a deployed slice of the system your users will touch. From here the rhythm is two-week sprints with Thursday demos.

  • Demo with your team
  • Weekly written update started
  • Quality gates enforced in the pipeline
  • Projection reviewed with you

What we need from you

  • Decision owner identified on your side (one name, not a committee)
  • Access to repositories, cloud accounts and third-party systems
  • Security addendum and NDAs signed
  • Two hours a week of stakeholder availability for review and demos
  • Tooling decided: shared channel, boards and the platform modules in use

The ongoing rhythm

Weekly

Written update every Friday: shipped, slipped, why, and what it changes. Thursday demos.

Monthly

Delivery review with your stakeholders: projection, risks, staffing and the next quarter's shape.

On change

Scope changes always arrive as three priced options: reduce scope, move the date, or add budget.
